Blossom Together Picnic: Brindleyplace Edition
Saturday 1st April, 12 noon – 2.00pm
As part of a nationwide campaign around blossoms we’re thrilled that Oozells Square has been chosen by the National Trust in Birmingham as the first location for one of its Blossom Together Picnics.
This prestigious inaugural event is set to become an annual part of the National Trust’s calendar celebrating the ring of blossoms (and number 11 bus route) around Birmingham.
Held in partnership with Ladywood Arts Forum and Ikon, who are organising a free art activity on the day with artist Taiba Akhtar, the picnic will encourage people to visit Oozells Square and enjoy the flowers and buzzing atmosphere.
So come along and enjoy the blossoms, bring a picnic or take advantage of pre-ordering a picnic box from Siamais or a pizza from Rudy’s.

Birmingham Contemporary Music Group Blossom Concert
Sunday 2nd April, 3.00pm
To round off a spring spent celebrating the beautiful Brindley blossoms, Birmingham Contemporary Music Group will be holding an hour-long concert, in conjunction with Ikon, which is suitable for all ages and is completely free of charge.
Why not treat yourself to coffee or a cocktail from one of the lovely bars and cafes around Brindleyplace or better still come for a bottomless brunch or lunch and stay for some music!
