Monday 22 June

Self-esteem and resilience webinar (2-3pm)
Learn to weave protective factors into your lives, and strengthen your sense of self-esteem, so that you can “bounce back” from difficult experiences and setbacks. This talk will be led by Dr Bobby Sura, Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist at Solihull Well Being Clinic.

Refresh your mind, body and soul (6-7pm)
Wellbeing expert from InterYoga Laur Beech will be teaching breathing exercises and techniques to refresh your mind, body and soul for the evening.

Tuesday 23 June

Sleep hygiene (11am – 12pm)

Sleep affects all aspects of our mental and physical health, so it is crucial that we sleep well. But what does that mean exactly, and how can we achieve it? Dr. Caroline Horton, Reader in Psychology and Director of DrEAMSLab, Bishop Grosseteste University  will be demonstrating how and why sleep is so important, sharing evidence-based tips for getting to sleep quicker and staying asleep until morning.

Meaningfulness in the workplace (Occupier exclusive event, 2 – 3pm)

Living a purposeful and meaningful life is considered essential for optimising human potential. Thursday 25 June

The science behind sleep and dreaming (11am-12pm)

Some of us remember regular, vivid dreams, whilst others vow they never dream of a thing. Dr. Caroline Horton will discuss the science underpinning dreaming, by explaining what happens to our mind and brain while we are asleep. We will also consider how dreams help us to process our experiences and emotions, reminding us that sleep is crucial for our mental health and cognitive function.
