Brindleyplace and Unity Trust Bank have arranged for the NHS Blood and Transplant Van to make a stop at Brindleyplace.
On Wednesday 9th September the van will stop in Central Square from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm so that people who work at Brindleyplace and members of the public can visit.
The van houses two ‘What’s Your Blood Type?’ testing booths. Colleagues and visitors can drop by to find out more about becoming a blood or plasma donor, and if eligible, blood type testing can be carried out on the day.
What to expect:
- Find out if you’re eligible to become a blood or plasma donor
- Eligible donors can have their blood type tested on the day
- The chance to sign up as a new donor
- NHS team on hand to answer questions and help book your first appointment
