You may have noticed that our ‘can’ bank has been painted bright red and has new, colourful graphics promoting our next collecting initiative - we’re working with Collection 4 Clothes to provide vital funds to help sick kids at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Turn your old clothes into good deeds!
How it works
Simply drop your unwanted, good quality, clothes, shoes, handbags (anything that fits through the slot!) into our collection bank. Once it is full, Collection 4 Clothes will collect the contents, take them away, weigh them and then sort them at multiple warehouse sites around the UK. They are then sent via trucks to the least economically developed countries in Eastern Europe, Africa, South-East Asia, and the Middle East where they are sold at local affordable prices that benefit their local communities. The royalties made from these sales is what is then donated to Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity.

Your support helps to ensure the children being treated at Birmingham Children’s Hospital are given the high quality of care they need, get the very best treatment, and have access to the latest equipment and technology. The money also helps provide and constantly improve the most comfortable environment possible as they undertake pioneering research to treat and cure their very young patients.
Our combined support helps Birmingham Children’s Hospital take care of some of the country’s youngest and sickest patients with very complex needs. Our funding helps the hospital focus on children and their families to put them first. Reassuring the families that their children are getting the best quality of care during their stay at the hospital. Funding helps create clean, safe, comfortable, and imaginative environments to keep the children as stress-free as possible during their stay in the facility.
By donating your unwanted clothing and other items, you are ensuring they are put forward to a good cause which in turn helps limit landfill waste and helps the environment at the same time.
