Brindley is the place to sparkle this Christmas! From the stars on our Christmas tree to those that play a starring role around the estate, we’re championing the Brindley stars of Christmas.
And in the spirit of the rhyme, we’re celebrating with 12 ‘star’ events. From the lighting of our tree on Thursday 13th December until our Christmas Star event on Thursday 18th December, we’ve got a series of activities for our community and visitors to enjoy…
On Saturday 15th November our ‘Two Turtle Loves’ social media competition launches. Tell us why you love turtles to be in with the chance to win tickets for four to SeaLife Centre to visit with their turtle Mo!
From Monday 1st December you can read about seven star places to buy gifts at Brindley and from Friday 12th December you will be able to become a mixologist with our downloadable cocktail booklet.
In addition to the above events and activities, we also have some exclusive events for our Brindley community. On Wednesday 19th November in a Christmas act of kindness, we’ re rewarding tenants with cake just for being their sparkly selves and on Wednesday 26th November we’re hiding 5 bells on the Christmas trees in receptions and those who find one can claim a gift!
On Thursday 27th November we’re rewarding a star team! By telling us what their team or company have done that has made a difference this year, the ‘stars’ of Brindleyplace will get 12 tickets to a Christmas cocktail making workshop. There are two other workshops to join too – a floral wreath-making session on Wednesday 3rd December and a cake decorating class on Wednesday 17th December.
Charities
We’re supporting four charities this year: Birmingham Children’s Hospital Magic Stars, Ladywood Project, The Balloon Tree and Salvation Army. On Thursday 20th November, The Balloon Tree will be paying a special visit to Brindleyplace!
Grand Finale
The twelfth and final day of Brindley Christmas will see fanfare, food and lots of fun in Central Square! On Thursday 18th December, a Makers Market and Festive Food Market will be open from 11:00am – 3:00pm and the Salvation Army will be on site from 12 noon until 2:00pm playing Christmas classics for all to enjoy. Santa will also be on hand roaming the square with his selfie frame – so bring your best smile!
Let this festive season be your time to shine – join us and add some sparkle to your Christmas!
