In celebration of Customer Service Week, we're recognising four of the ‘Best of Brindley'.
The Best of Brindley is a recognition scheme which allows us to highlight and reward the amazing work going on (often behind the scenes) by people based at Brindleyplace who want to make Brindley brilliant! It’s acknowledging people who go above and beyond in their daily jobs or in an estate activity to make Brindley better for everyone.
First up we have Estate Security Officer, Ray Adams.
Ray consistently goes above and beyond in his role as a Security Officer, embodying professionalism, empathy, and dedication every single day. He is always happy to help both tenants and visitors to the estate and one of his greatest talents is his skill to communicate – he quickly builds a rapport with people and puts everyone at ease.
Speaking of Ray, Stacy Hewerdine, Security Manager says: “Ray takes genuine pride in supporting colleagues, tenants, visitors, and members of the public, often going the extra mile to ensure people feel safe, valued, and respected. His approachable manner, positive attitude, and willingness to assist with any task make him a trusted and highly respected member of the team”.
In addition to his outstanding front-line service, Ray plays a vital role in developing and supporting the team. He takes all new staff under his wing, generously sharing his years of experience to guide them in the right direction.
Continuing, Stacy concludes: “For his consistent dedication, exceptional people skills, and unwavering willingness to go above and beyond, I wholeheartedly believe Ray Adams deserves recognition for his outstanding contribution to customer service”.
Our second recipient is Jai Kalia.
Jai is the Real Estate Services Senior Facilities Manager at Marsh & McLennan Companies and has been working here at Brindleyplace for 25 years. He is receiving this recognition for his exceptional loyalty to the estate!
Jai is an amazing ambassador for Brindleyplace! He’s worked here for his entire professional life and enjoyed everything Brindley has to offer from a social perspective too. He has seen a lot of changes over the years and remains a trusted source of feedback on estate wide activations.
Jai always highlights what Brindleyplace offers from both a professional and personal perspective, constantly championing the ‘exceptional’ work/life balance he feels on the estate.
Our third recipient is Sonia Rull-Badhan, the Director of Sales and Marketing at Hilton Garden Inn at Brindleyplace.
Sonia is receiving her Best of Brindley award for taking a genuine interest in the people and businesses of Brindleyplace and for constantly looking for ways to collaborate with the estate, its tenants and supporting local charities including Ladywood Project.
Sonia actively participates in events, most recently enjoying the beekeeping and honey harvesting sessions. She is also always ready to lend a hand when it comes to hosting events or acts of kindness as her and her catering team did for the recent International Day of Birmingham when they treated tenants to Brummie Bacon cakes.
Finally, we are recognising Felicity Wheeler, for her unwavering support of the Brindley Wellness Programme.
Felicity is a Performance and Reward Analyst at Deutsche Bank in 5 Brindleyplace. She regularly attends the Brindley Wellness classes and has championed them since the outset, always keen to share feedback and ideas and be a willing spokeswoman for the programme.
Thank you to all our Best of Brindley recipients for their support of our wonderful estate.
