Meet the Makers!
So that you can get to know the lovely stallholders at our monthly markets, we are sharing a few bits about them! Have a read, then when you visit you can have a chat!

Tell us a bit about yourself:
Hi, I’m Lauren! I’ve been a pastry chef for 8 years, and I started mmacaron two years ago. It’s been an incredible journey turning my love for patisserie into a growing small business.
How did you get into making macarons?
mmacaron originally started as a café in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, where I was the head chef. When the café unfortunately closed, I wasn’t ready to let go of what we’d built—so I carried the business on myself, focusing on what I loved most: handmade macarons!
Most popular product?
It’s a close call between the pistachio and the chocolate brownie macarons—they’re both fan favourites!
Why do you like trading at Brindleyplace?
The community! Everyone I’ve met there has been so lovely and chatty—it’s a joy to trade in such a friendly and supportive environment.
Fun fact:
People who don’t normally like macarons often love mine. I think that’s the best compliment!
