Brindleyplace is a great place to work and a great place to visit. It’s full of fantastic cafes, bars and restaurants, has some amazing office buildings and a thriving business community and has wonderful green spaces all sitting proudly beside Birmingham’s canal side.
It’s a place steeped in history that has become part of the modern landscape of Birmingham. It’s a place that’s full of life and yet with all its water, trees and open space, is a place to find tranquillity and calmness in a busy city.
Despite all these impressive features, it’s not the place that makes Brindley, it’s the people. People from all walks of life, from all parts of the country (or even world) who come to work at Brindley every day with a smile on their face and the ‘can do, will do’ attitude that make us standout from other places in the City.
And we’ve decided we want to recognise the best of these people – the people that go the extra mile to help a colleague or a visitor. Those that go above or beyond to champion our estate or make it a better place to work or visit. Those that, quite simply, make Brindley the special vibrant community it has become – they’re the Best of Brindley.
To recognise these special people, we are launching the Best of Brindley Awards, a recognition scheme which will allow us to celebrate and reward the amazing work going on (often behind the scenes) by people who want to make Brindley brilliant!
The worthy recipients of a ‘Best of Brindley’ award will receive a selection of ‘Best of’ branded goodies and be invited to an award breakfast to celebrate their achievements. They will also, of course, forever have the honour of being recognised for their outstanding contribution to bettering the Brindley community.
