The Brindleyplace community is extremely important to us, and as a place where many people shop, work and meet, we want to help keep everybody as safe as possible during the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Following the latest government guidance on 4 January, all shops selling non-essential goods, restaurants, tourist attractions and leisure facilities are now closed to the general public. Essential retailers Sainsbury’s Local and Boots will remain open during this time to pick up everyday food essentials or medical supplies.
A number of our restaurants and cafes are offering collection and delivery services, meaning that you can still bring a touch of Brindleyplace to you home – click here to find a full list of Brindleyplace venues offering this service. We recommend that you call or check a store’s website to confirm updated opening hours before visiting.
If you are walking along the canals as part of your daily exercise, we ask that you stay alert and keep 2 metres distance from other visitors wherever possible.
If you are a Brindleyplace employee and work at any of our offices or leisure facilities, we recommend contacting your company’s HR department for the latest advice on your working practices.
Although this has not been the start of the New Year that we had hoped for, we hope that the Brindleyplace community remains resilient as it has been over the past 10 months. We recommend safely reaching out and checking in with loved ones who may be struggling during this time.
