We know that for many Birmingham residents and beyond, Brindley is normally THE place for Christmas celebrations. Although we are really sad that we cannot welcome you in the usual way this year, the Brindleyplace community remains extremely important to us and we want to keep you as safe as possible during the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Following the latest government guidance, it has been confirmed that Birmingham sits within a tier 3 area. All shops selling essential and non-essential goods will be able to reopen from Wednesday 2nd December. Shops and personal care services that will be open from 2nd December are listed below:
- Bannatyne Health Club
- Boots
- Ethos
- Sainsbury’s Local
- The Gentleman Barbers
Restaurants, cafes and other hospitality venues in Tier 3 are unable to open, but are permitted to continue sales by takeaway, click-and-collect or delivery services. Click here to find a full list of Brindleyplace venues offering this service. Tourist attractions such as Ikon Gallery and the National Sea LIFE Centre will remain closed until further notice.
We recommend that you call or check a store’s website to confirm a store is open before visiting as they may have updated Christmas opening hours to help you shop more safely. We will also regularly update the news section of the website with any changes as they happen.
For up-to-date guidance and information regarding Coronavirus, we recommend checking the Government and NHS websites.
