With measures to protect the public from the risk of Covid-19 relaxed and people returning to the workplace, the dedicated real estate management team at Brindleyplace has been hard at work to welcome the public back to a safe and secure environment.
Brindleyplace is lucky to be able to offer a fully-managed estate which benefits from vast open spaces which provide the perfect areas for social distancing.
But to ensure it is a safe environment both inside and out, the dedicated on-site management team has implemented a detailed strategy to keep workers as safe as possible.
The plans have been informed by the latest guidance from the UK and Local Government, the NHS and the World Health Organisation (WHO) as well as industry bodies such as RICS and BOMA International.
Asset Managers and the wider Brindleyplace team have introduced new measures including encouraging people to wear facemasks in common areas inside buildings, installing hand sanitizer, replacing hand dryers with paper towels and extending mechanical ventilation run times to provide continual fresh air to the buildings.
A bespoke document has also been produced by the on-site team for occupiers as they return to work, which outlines all of the measures which have been put in place. Follow up meetings have also been arranged to discuss queries and working methods as restrictions change.
Over 254 pieces of social distancing signage have also been installed across the estate, both inside buildings and in the public open areas, which cover everything from keeping to the left on staircases to asking visitors not to enter buildings if they have COVID-19 symptoms.
