Last night, the iconic Number 3 Brindleyplace lit up in red, white and blue to celebrate the 75th anniversary of VE Day, thanking our war veterans for their sacrifices during World War Two.
For the past month, Number 3 Brindleyplace has been lit up in blue each evening, thanking NHS and key workers for their hard work in keeping our community safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are now extending our thanks to war veterans during the 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, marking the end of World War Two.
Stacey Muir, Marketing and Events Executive at Brindleyplace, said:
“Brindleyplace is a community and a place where people often come together to celebrate. With VE Day celebrations having to take place at home, we wanted to show our appreciation on behalf of the entire Brindleyplace community for all of the war veterans who fought in WW2. As our community hangs up bunting and posters in their windows, Number 3 Brindleyplace will shine in red, white and blue too.”
