Covid-19 Update – April 2020

The Brindleyplace community is extremely important to us, and as a place where many people shop, work and meet, we want to help keep everybody as safe as possible during the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Following the government advice on Monday 23 March, all shops selling non-essential goods, restaurants and leisure facilities closed their doors to the general public temporarily. However, for essentials and any medical supplies Sainsbury’s Local and SPAR will remain open. Please note as of 1 June, Pret a Manger is also open for business from 8am to 2:30pm Monday – Friday.

If you are an office occupier or employee of one of our stores, restaurants or leisure facilities, please contact your company’s HR department for the latest advice on your working practices.

All we ask at this time is for everyone to keep following the government guidelines to stay safe at home and only come to Brindleyplace if you need groceries, medicine or access as a key worker. If you do need to visit the estate, or are using our canals for exercise, please remember to practice social distancing and keep at least two metres away from other people.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who continues to help keep Brindleyplace safe and secure for everyone at this time. We urge you all to keep looking out for each other and we hope to welcome you all back to Brindleyplace very soon.

This page will be updated with further information as it becomes available. For up-to-date information regarding Coronavirus, we recommend checking World Health Organisation and NHS website.
