The organising committee behind the 2022 Commonwealth Games has confirmed Brindleyplace as its Birmingham headquarters.
The team will be based at One Brindleyplace and has agreed to take up the 73,000 sq ft, five-floor office until December 2022.
The Birmingham 2022 committee now has 31 staff, with more employees set to join in the coming weeks.
Ian Reid, chief executive of Birmingham 2022, said: “I’m delighted that we have finalised arrangements for our new headquarters and we’re excited about moving in very soon.
“The new office is in a great location for us, in the heart of Brindleyplace and very close to Birmingham city centre. It’s even just a few minutes’ walk from one of our official venues – Arena Birmingham – so that will certainly help to focus our minds every day.”
