Brindleyplace

The Dragonboat Festival is one of our biggest and most memorable events of the year, there is something for everyone. Approximately 20 teams will battle it out to win the trophy and there will be prizes for the whole team for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.  Teams already confirmed are Curry and Partners, Vanguard Contracts Ltd, Nandos, Argent, Barnardos, GVA Grimley to name but a few.The water race comprises a series of heats, which run from Pitcher and Piano up to the winning post at the NIA.

Additional entertainment on the day will include: BRMB roadshow, live music, Chinese Lion Dancer, street entertainment, sumo wrestling suits, bouncy castle, oriental art and craft activities, Chinese food provided by Tin Tin and much more! There will also be a fantastic raffle on the day all in aid of Barnardo's including delicious meals and family days out.

There are still places available if you would like to take part in the Dragonboat race. You need a minimum of 12 rowers and 1 drummer.  Initial £250 deposit and a commitment to raise a further £1000 for Barnardo's.
