Urban Oasis Project
The Urban Oasis Project, Central Square, launched tonight at a VIP reception hosted by Three Brindleyplace.
The 12 metre high eco-friendly structure mimics the design of a growing flower with its petals, powered by rain, wind and daylight, slowly opening and closing throughout the day as well as glowing during its stunning light show during the evening.
Designed by London architect Laurie Chetwood, the Oasis will be staying in Brindleyplace until Spring 2007 when it moves to star in MIPIM in Cannes.
With interactive fun to entertain the whole family, the Oasis can teach you about how we can help to sustain the planet through new technologies.
