Exciting new Recycling Initiative
Brindleyplace has launched a new recycling initiative on the Estate as it cements its position as the cleanest and greenest business and leisure destination in Birmingham. Tenants wishing to take advantage of any of this recycling should contact Fiona Loveland at fiona@brindleyplace.com or Bryony Pithers at fiona@brindleyplace.com or Bryony Pithers at bryony@brindleyplace.com who will be happy to meet with you to discuss your requirements in more detail. Alternatively, please contact the Management Office on 0121 643 6866 and they will pass on your query.
From 10 September tenants have been asked to expand what they recycle to include non-confidential paper such as white and coloured paper, white envelopes and brochures. Tenants are also being urged to recycle newspapers, plastics and cans. Once separated from general waste, these items will be collected at regular intervals in special recycling boxes provided by the Estate. Processes for recycling cardboard, glass, toners and mobile phones have already been successfully established.
Anna Foster, Estate Manager at Brindleyplace, said: “We are very keen to increase our recycling percentages and lead by example on this issue and so are encouraging our tenants to fully embrace this initiative.
“The environment is an issue that effects us all and so it is important that we take whatever steps we can to reduce the amount of waste we create.”
