Friday 20th July – Inspector Gadjo

The Inspector Gadjo Trio takes the spirit and flavour of Gypsy Jazz and stirs in a cool helping of Bebop and Latin Jazz. With influences from Django Reinhardt to Kenny Burrell, Charlie Parker to Antonio Carlos Jobim the group has been gaining momentum across the U.K after winning the prestigious Gypsy Idol competition at the 2009 International Gypsy Guitar Festival (as judged by Andreas Oberg). Formed in early 2009 by young jazz guitarist Will Barnes, the musicians of Inspector Gadjo each bring an individual element to the group.
