A group of ladies from DAC Beachcroft are putting themselves up for a catwalk challenge to help raise funds for a local charity. The volunteer models will strut their stuff at the Autumn Dreams Fashion Show to be held at the Eaton Hotel, Hagley Road, Edgbaston on Tuesday 18th September.
DAC Beachcroft is one of the largest commercial law firms in the UK and has supported the work of the Foundation for Conductive Education for many years. Proceeds from the Fashion Show will go towards helping the Foundation continue to provide its vital, life changing services for children and adults with MS, cerebral palsy, stroke, Parkinson’s or head injury, giving them skills and techniques to overcome the impact of their disability.
DAC Beachcroft is the main sponsor of the event, which will showcase the new season’s collections from Davenport’s No. 2, a designer clothing boutique based in Harborne, and a sister shop called Sackcloth Designs in Stourbridge. Davenports No. 2 stocks a range of labels including Joseph Ribkoff, Betty Barclay, Olsen, Gerry Weber and Lisa Campione, aimed at appealing to fashion conscious women, both young and more mature.
Tickets for the show are available from Seema Basudev of DAC Beachcroft’s Brindleyplace office (email sbasudev@dacbeachcroft.com), or from the organiser, Dominga Devitt (email ddevitt@conductive-education.org.uk). The cost of £14.50 includes a glass of Buck’s Fizz and canapés on arrival, plus a goody bag for each guest.
